Paper, gold and other organic materials

Inside a deep shadow box, Leonardo's Vitruvian Man presides over a golden orbit of cut-out figures — brides, chiefs, a seated Buddha, a performer in a spangled skirt — pinned with beads and thread across handwritten manuscript. Centuries of borrowed images overwrite one another until the layering itself becomes the subject.
