Edna Dagan
My paintings and sculptures tend to have a certain edge. I take a fresh look at a common subject and, using new mediums or deep visual insights, imbue it with new meaning. My favorite materials are wood, stone, and organic found-objects and I draw/paint in all mediums.
My background as a classical pianist has a strong effect on my work, though I find inspiration in every thing and every day.
